This issue of QLife marks a major milestone in the history of LGBTQ publishing. At the same time, this issue marks our first print edition as QLife, it also marks our 40-year legacy dating back to June 1978 when we were first published as the Vegas Gay Times as a photocopied newsletter

Call Me By Our Names

Our name has changed over the years, including The Bohemian Bugle and The Bugle. In 2004 we started publishing as QVegas and transitioned to an all-digital publication in 2015 as Gay.Vegas

In January 2017 the QVegas brand was retired as we expanded into multiple markets under the QLife brand. This year, through our partnership with ProudQueer, QLife and PQ serve 9 major markets across the US, including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Ohio, Portland, Rhode Island, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle.

Your Local LGBTQ Publication

This commemorative print edition serves our hometown of Las Vegas and the Southwest region of the U.S. As we continue to focus on our digital publications, we are redefining the magazine industry and how customers and brands interact in the digital age.

For our online readers, you will enjoy the aesthetic design of our articles, unencumbered by inline advertising and pop-up ads. Our advertising model returns to the roots of print publications where ads appear between articles, not between paragraphs. We provide a hyper-targeted reach to the LGBTQ consumer for our advertisers.

Thank You Advertisers

We are thankful for the advertisers that continue to believe in us and the value of a local LGBTQ publication. This special edition could not have been possible without LiveNation, House of Blues, The Foundation Room, and MGM Resorts International with their unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion.

QLife Guides

This summer, QLife launched all-new QLife Guides: directories of LGBTQ-owned, LGBTQ-serving, and LGBTQ-allied businesses. In Las Vegas, we’ve partnered with Lambda Business Association, the local LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce, to provide a robust directory. As we expand into our other local communities, we will be adding more and more businesses and partnering with more local organizations.

Community Partners

While we call Vegas home, QLife supports local LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS non-profits in every market we serve through in-kind sponsorships year round. If your non-profit organization is interested in free advertising, please contact us for details.
