Who would've thought that Phil of the Future would be our newest "woke bae" internet obsession?

Last week, our thirsty appreciation post of Raviv Ullman in gender-bending attire went viral as the world collectively remembered that he's kind of a babe (that also wants to tear down the patriarchy). In his first post since then, Ullman paid homage to the LGBTQ people who paved the way for a man to be able to wear dress—and be celebrated for it.

"As a cisgender straight white male I just want to acknowledge what a privilege it is to have these photos celebrated, while at the same time people in the trans and queer communities have been and continue to be persecuted worldwide just for living as their authentic selves," wrote Ullman on Instagram. "I wear pants and a shirt most days because that’s what society has told me to do. But if you know me well you know that I love to wear a gorgeous 'ladies' coat. I think dresses are beautiful."

He continued:

"As a part of an exploration that is so personal but shared so publicly, it’s important to recognize all of those who have sacrificed so much so that I could feel comfortable wearing what I want."

Just when I thought I couldn't love him any more...

I’m really honored that these pictures @kaitlynmikayla and I collaborated on have received such a warm welcome to the Instagram community. As a cisgender straight white male I just want to acknowledge what a privilege it is to have these photos celebrated, while at the same time people in the trans and queer communities have been and continue to be persecuted worldwide just for living as their authentic selves. I wear pants and a shirt most days because that’s what society has told me to do. But if you know me well you know that I love to wear a gorgeous “ladies” coat. I think dresses are beautiful. So Kaitlyn and I decided to explore what that was for me and turn it into art. As a part of an exploration that is so personal but shared so publicly, it’s important to recognize all of those who have sacrificed so much so that I could feel comfortable wearing what I want.
